Your attitudes and experiences of physical education (PE)
and school sport are being collected in the form of a questionnaire and an informal focus group interview. Why? The questionnaire
and focus group interview are part of a research project being conducted by me as part of the final year of my Education Studies
degree at the University of Greenwich.
What am I being asked to do?
Complete a questionnaire either via this site or by hand
and if possible participate in an informal focus group interview on Sunday 19th March, with a number of your peers where your
experiences of school sport and PE will be discussed.
Will my answers be confidential?
Yes, there will be no mention of any names in any part
of the research or final results.
My parents have some concerns about me participating
in the research
In order for you to participate in the research it is essential
that parental/guardian consent has been obtained for each participant prior to joining the project.
If at any stage you or your parents feel that you
should withdraw your participation from the survey you are of course free to do so. The answers you give will be treated as
confidential. Your co-operation is voluntary at all times.
No personal information is sought from or about you, without
your prior knowledge and agreement. You are entitled at any stage of the research project, or subsequently, to ask that part
or all of the record of your participation be destroyed or deleted. Wherever reasonable and practical, I will endeavour to
carry out such a request.
You can contact me via the contact button which can be found to the top left of this screen to discuss any problems
or issues that you may have with the research project.
